Most of us are looking for ways to make extra money, either fitting it around our full time jobs, or around other commitments. In this blog post I want to share ways you can make £100 a month.
Earning £100 consistently every month is relatively easy – it is a great way to dip your toes into the world of earning extra money online. Whilst it isn’t a life changing amount, it might be what you need to pay for your holiday spending money, for a new gadget you are after or anything else. Make £100 a month with Surveys
Anyone who promises that you will make mega money completing online surveys is lying! Surveys often pay mere pennies for a lot of work, and you may find yourself completing most of the surveys only to be screened out and not receive any payment. However, there are some good survey websites out there, and if you are going to only join a few, I suggest it is these 10.
My absolute favourite survey site is Prolific Academic, where I can expect to earn £40 a month. Best of all, you never get screened out of surveys as they will only show you surveys that match your profile. They payout via Paypal (see our Paypal fees calculator).
I also like Branded Survey (formerly MintVine) – there are other ways to earn apart from surveys and they also payout via Paypal.
Valued Opinions pays between 25p-£30 per survey, although 75p-£2 is the average payout. You can redeem your earnings for gift cards to be used in a variety of places, including Sainsbury’s, Amazon and Marks and Spencer. The surveys also open you up to more opportunities such as online focus groups.
There are many ways to earn from the Paid To Click (PTC) website InstaGC, and completing surveys is one of them. You can withdraw your earnings from InstaGC from just £1 in Amazon vouchers. Other gift vouchers on offer include, ASDA, ASOS, B&Q, Groupon, iTunes, Rixty, Skype and Starbucks, in various amounts. My favourite gift card has to be Amazon. Once you redeem, you are given the code instantly and can spend it straight away – there’s no waiting around. It costs the same points per pound to redeem a £1 gift card as it does to redeem a £100 gift card, so there’s no benefit in letting your points accumulate. This means that you can spend your vouchers as soon as you have earned them!
Swagbucks is another Paid To Click website, with lots of tasks available. One of these tasks is to complete surveys, and on Swagbucks you will never be short of a survey to complete. You can withdraw your Swagbucks in a variety of ways – the most popular being Paypal cash or Amazon gift cards. Sign up to Swagbucks here.
YouGov is another favourite of mine, and I reach the £50 payment threshold roughly every 2-4 months depending on the surveys I’ve been sent.
Viewsbank offer you short surveys on a regular basis, with the chance to participate in higher paying market research. An example of this research is ringing companies for insurance quotes. The payout is just £12 via Paypal, paid monthly.
Pinecone is one of the highest paying survey websites out there, paying out £3 for each survey. You can also use your points towards other rewards such as homewares, iPads, magazine subscriptions, Amazon gift cards and much more.
Paying out in a variety of methods including Paypal cash and Amazon gift vouchers, Gift Hunter Club is a paid to click site that also offers surveys as a way to earn points. There are plenty of surveys to choose from, and you can also boost your earnings by downloading apps, watching videos and much more.
Make £100 a month with Mystery Shopping
Mystery shopping is a tool used by companies to evaluate their quality of service. Imagine a store knowing that a regional manager would be visiting the store – the store would be on “best behaviour” and the manager wouldn’t know where the store is failing and where they are excelling.
Companies employ outside mystery shopping agencies to recruit mystery shoppers to carry out assignments. These shoppers will act like a normal customer and look at certain aspects of the service they receive. The shopper then completes a report after the assignment and receives a payment for doing so.

Play games to make £100 a month
Getting paid to play games has quickly become one of my favourite side hustles, especially for those nights in infront of Netflix.
Both Swagbucks and InboxPounds pay you for playing mobile phone games, and I’ve made a decent amount of money from playing them.
Here are just some of the games I’ve played on InboxPounds and the money I’ve earned for playing them.
For some games you have to reach a certain level, and other games will pay you on a tiered basis – for example, Star Trek Fleet Command paid out in stages – I unlocked payments as I reached higher and higher levels.
Here are just some of the games available to play on Swagbucks to earn money. 1,000SBs is worth £10 via Paypal, so you can see that one of the games above even pays a massive £291!
With both Swagbucks and InboxPounds you can choose to get paid via Paypal, Amazon gift card or other gift cards.
Get your cashback
Cashback websites and apps are paid a commission from retailers when they send customers to them.
In order to entice you to click through those links you will be offered a percentage of that commission.
It is an easy way to make money towards your goal of making £100 extra every month.
I’ve earned over £4,375 from Quidco alone!
I use AirTime Rewards, Quidco, TopCashback, Jam Doughnut, Widilo (read more about Widilo here) and Rakuten for my cashback earning.
Get paid to search the web
Qmee is a browser add on that will often pop up with relevant search results – simply click one of these paid results and you will earn yourself a few extra pennies. There is no minimum withdrawal and they pay out via Paypal. Since installing Qmee I have earned over £118 for free!
Free daily draws
Whilst these aren’t guaranteed to earn you extra money, there are main daily draws that are free to take part in. These could see you winning a tidy amount of cash and it is worth getting into the habit of checking them daily. They are:

Hi Emma, really like these ways. I had recently written a blog how to make £100 but my method probably isn’t as easy. I went down the route of going to carboots and picking stuff up and listing it on eBay & Facebook Marketplace. What are your thoughts on this? Something you have tried in the past?
p.s great blog, I have learnt a lot from you.
Thanks for reading. We love reselling and however, you do it is amazing. Keep going!
Some innovative ideas to consider. I already do surveys and earn cashback when shopping online. Will read further later, thank you.
I do surveys too! You are definitely right with the pay on them. Its a slog. Some survey sites I didn’t know about, listed here, so thank you.
I am certainly looking for extra money as I am going to be losing £100 a month from September this year so I need to make that up
Hi Just reading this (got it from the bloggers hamper competition thank you) I am a member of Viewsbank and One Poll and think that maybe you need to re-read the payments you get from them, as the information you have is incorrect. I am not sure when you put this information on but it does need updating thanx. I can earn up to £200 a month from surveys 🙂
Hi, thanks for your comment. The first payment threshold with OnePoll is still £40, but the Viewsbank has been changed, thanks for letting me know.
