Temu has a set of in-app “games” like Farmland and Fishland that promise free gifts, coupons or PayPal cash if you complete tasks and invite others. The tricky bit is that many users now see a message saying the activity is randomised, so the games aren’t always available when you go looking for them.
In this guide I’ll show you:
- The full Temu games list (UK)
- How to find the games in the Temu app
- What each game involves and what you can realistically expect to win
- Alternatives that pay real money for playing mobile games (without needing referrals)

- Cash Reward
- Refer & Earn (varies by account/region)
Current Status Update for Temu Games (Randomised Availability)
Last checked: 18 February 2026
If you’re trying to access Temu games and keep seeing a message like “the availability of this activity is randomized”, you’re not alone. It essentially means the game isn’t guaranteed to appear for every account at all times. The games can come and go depending on what Temu is currently promoting, and it may vary by account, region, and app behaviour.
What the “randomised availability” message actually means
Temu hasn’t made a clear public statement that explains exactly how this works, but based on what users are seeing, it looks like:
- The games can appear and disappear, even if you’ve played them before
- Two people can search for the same game and get different results
- You might be able to access the game one day and not the next
- Sometimes the game shows on mobile but not on desktop (or vice versa)
If the games have vanished for you, it doesn’t necessarily mean they’ve been removed forever. It often seems more like you’re not being shown that promotion at that moment.
3 things to try if you can’t access Temu games
Search the exact game name in the Temu search bar
The fastest method is to type the game name into the search bar exactly, then look for a result that opens the game rather than a product listing. Try these searches:
- Farmland
- Fishland
- Free Gifts
- Hat Trick
- Cash Reward
If you have a game code from someone, you can usually paste it into the search bar too, and it may open a specific game invite page.
Try a different connection and refresh your app session
Sometimes the app behaves differently depending on how you’re connected.
- Fully close the Temu app and reopen it (don’t just minimise it)
- Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data
- Update the Temu app to the latest version
- Log out and back in (only if you’re comfortable doing so)
Try again at a different time (it can be genuinely random)
Annoyingly, this isn’t a satisfying answer, but it does match what people experience. If you can’t access a game right now, try again later that day or the next day. If the game is being shown randomly, availability can change without you doing anything at all.
If you do spot the games again, it’s worth bookmarking this post so you can come back to the game list quickly, and you might want to start any game you actually care about straight away in case it disappears again.
Why has Temu removed their games?
Though Temu has not released an official statement regarding the change in game availability, industry trends suggest that such decisions are often influenced by platform updates or strategic shifts. We will keep an eye out for any official announcements and update this post accordingly.

Temu Games List
There are a variety of Temu games on offer.
In the UK, on Temu we have access to:
- Farmland – Farmland is a game where you can select prizes from the list that you would like to win, then log in and manage your farm to win your selected prizes. Read our full Temu Farmland game guide here.
- Fishland – Fishland is a game where you can select prizes from the list that you would like to win, then feed your fish to win. Read our full guide on the Temu Fishland game here.
- Cash Reward – Cash Reward is a spin a wheel style game where you can win PayPal cash as well as a Temu coupon.
- Temu free gifts – The free gifts game gives you the opportunity to choose 3 free gifts, and in order to win this game you need to “cut” the value of the prizes down to zero.
- Hat-trick gifts – The Hat Trick gifts game is another game that gives you the opportunity to choose 3 free gifts to try and win. This is a simple game to play, you have to turn over 6 cards and once you find all 3 of your prizes you’ve won.
- Refer and earn
Are Temu games free?
Yes, Temu games are free to play.
They rely on you earning more game components (e.g. water to water your crops in Farmland, or food to feed your fish in Fishland) by sharing your referral link or code with others.
You can sometimes earn more food or water in game by placing an order on Temu.

Both new and existing users can help you to get more game components or coins, and you can also earn more by browsing Temu and sharing to your social media. Top tip, you can set the privacy settings on Facebook to only show your post to you, so you don’t flood your friends’ newsfeed with your Temu games links.
Temu Free Gifts Game
The free gifts game gives you the opportunity to choose 3 free gifts, these are chosen from the list of products that you have been browsing. This game often gives you the chance to earn £50 credit amongst your freebies.

In order to win this game you need to “cut” the value of the prizes down to zero. You begin by flipping a card to get your first amount of money. This usually results in your first prize being knocked down to nothing and usually some or all of the second being reduced. You are then given the opportunity to share to remove some more value leaving you with a minimal amount to cut.

To do this, you need to invite new app users (ideally). You are able to invite up to 8 existing users, but as a general rule you have a much better chance of winning if you invite new users.

This game has a time limit of 24 hours, and you can usually have up to 3 rounds of the game running at once.
Temu Hat Trick Gifts
The Hat Trick gifts game is another game that gives you the opportunity to choose 3 free gifts to try and win. This one will also give you a chance from time to time to win credit.
This is a simple game to play, you have to turn over 6 cards and once you find all 3 of your prizes you’ve won. You expend energy to turn over the cards and half the cards will provide you more energy whilst half are the prizes. In order to get enough energy to turn over the cards you need to invite new users to the game, you have the option of inviting 2 existing users but generally this isn’t going to give you enough energy to win the game.
Each round of the hat trick games lasts 24 hours and you can usually have up to 3 rounds running at any time.
This game really needs you to invite new users, I don’t think it is possible to win without this.
Temu Cash Reward Game

The cash reward game on Temu is one that gives you the opportunity to earn cash paid straight into your PayPal as well as a money off spend voucher. This is a spin the wheel game in which you collect the value of your total prize from the wheel.

The catch is that it “costs” tokens to spin the wheel. To begin with you are gifted tokens, some you “win” for your loyalty as a customer, but the way to earn enough tokens is to invite friends, and as is the case with many of the Temu games, new users are key! You are limited in each session to 5 existing users.

There is one bonus with this game, and if you invite enough users you are able to earn up to £3 straight into your PayPal account. I’ve done this twice and won 50p – whilst not a great deal, as a certain supermarket used to say every little helps.
How to access Temu games
Finding the games on the Temu app isn’t easy – there isn’t a ‘game’ section.
Instead, to get to the games you need to type the name of the game into the search bar.
It seems odd, as though you are searching for products for sale, but simply search and the game will come up.
There are some other games such as Lucky Flip that aren’t available to UK Temu users.
Temu codes
You might see codes as well as links being shared.
A Temu games code is usually a 9 digit number – mine is 430104737.
To use this number copy it and paste it into the main search bar on Temu.
Can you win Temu games without sharing?
In my experience you can’t win Temu games without sharing.

The games rely on sharing Temu to both existing and new users, with many games needing you to get at least one person to sign up as a new user.
Temu are also very clever and may discount any sign ups using the same WiFi, even if it’s on a different device.
Do You Actually Have a Chance of Winning Temu Games?
This is the question everyone really wants answered.
In my honest experience, it is extremely difficult to win the bigger prizes on Temu games, especially without inviting new users.
I’ve played Temu Farmland, Fishland, Free Gifts and the Cash Reward game multiple times. I’ve shared links, used Facebook groups, posted to my page, and encouraged friends to click. Despite all that effort, I haven’t successfully won a major prize.
Here’s why many people struggle to win:
Time limits are tight
Most games run for 24 hours or a short fixed period. If you don’t progress quickly enough, your round ends and you have to start again.
Progress slows down near the end
You’ll often make rapid progress at the beginning, which makes it feel very achievable. But once you get close to winning, rewards tend to shrink and each step requires significantly more invites or activity.
New users are heavily favoured
Existing users usually don’t give you enough “energy”, “water” or tokens to complete the game. In most cases, you need at least one genuinely new app download and sign-up to finish.
Repeated shares don’t always count
Temu appears to filter referrals. If multiple sign-ups come from the same WiFi connection or device, they may not count towards your total.
That doesn’t mean nobody wins. Smaller rewards, low-value coupons and occasional PayPal bonuses do get paid out. But if your goal is consistent, predictable earnings, Temu games aren’t the most reliable route.
What I’d Do Instead
If you enjoy the idea of getting paid to play games, you’re much better off using platforms that pay you directly for reaching levels rather than relying on referrals.
With sites like FreeCash and Swagbucks, you:
- Don’t need to invite anyone
- Get paid for hitting specific in-game milestones
- Can withdraw via PayPal or gift cards
I’ve personally earned over £100 from a single mobile game offer, simply by reaching the required level within the time limit.
Temu games can be fun, and there’s no harm in trying if they’re available to you. Just go into them with realistic expectations and treat any reward as a bonus rather than guaranteed income.
FAQ about Temu Games
Temu games are in-app promotions like Farmland, Fishland and Free Gifts where you complete tasks (and often invite other users) to work towards free items, coupons or PayPal cash.
The quickest way is to type the game name (for example: Farmland or Fishland) into the Temu search bar and tap the result. Some users also enter invitation codes into the search bar to join a specific game.
It means the game isn’t guaranteed to show for every account at all times. Availability can vary by region, account and Temu’s current promotions, so the game may appear and disappear.
Yes, they’re free to play, but they often require time, daily check-ins and sharing invites to progress quickly.
In most cases it’s very difficult. The games are heavily referral-driven, and you usually need at least some invites (often new users) to finish within the time limit.
If you enjoy the games and don’t mind the referral element, they can be fun. If your main goal is guaranteed cash, you’ll usually do better with paid game offers on platforms like InboxPounds or Swagbucks.
