If you were working freelance you could take on more than one data entry client and build your own hours how you want. Maybe six hours for one client and ten hours for another. This could be a more stable way of working as you’ll have fingers in more pies. 

What Do You Need?

Think about what you need to get paid for data entry at home. These jobs are done on computers. Do you have your own laptop or desktop computer? You will need a decent broadband connection as you’ll probably be logging into a central system to input the data. You’ll need space to work as you might be working from printouts. Some clients, companies, or employers might require you to have a regular call so a mobile phone could be required. Alternatively, you might need to have a video chat, so check your laptop camera works and that you know how to use Zoom or Teams.
