I love finding free money offers, and this one from WorldRemit can net you £10 for free. In order to do it you will need to use two websites, Wise and WorldRemit, to transfer currency. It sounds a little bit complicated but it really isn’t. I’ve put together this guide to help you out.

This offer involves using Wise to set up an account in a different currency for free, and WorldRemit to transfer money into that account and earn a £10 reward. If you already have an account in a different currency then you can skip step 1 below and head straight to step 2.

Step 1 – Set up a foreign currency account

Note: If you already have a foreign currency account then you can skip this step and head straight to step 2.

Open a foreign currency account with Wise. You will need to have some photographic ID to hand to complete Know Your Customer and activate your chosen foreign currency account.

I opted to open my account in USD – American dollars.

You will need to deposit £20 into your Wise account – there are no fees for this and you can withdraw it out with no penalties.

You will then get access to your Wise foreign currency account details which you will need to complete step 2 below.

Step 2 – Create a WorldRemit account

Sign up for a WorldRemit account using this link to access the offer. The code will be applied automatically but if it doesn’t then the code is referp4mu7zkqjvus.

On the homepage you can choose which currency to send. There are various countries using USD so if you have set up an American account then you will want to make sure to change the country. Choose to send at least £75 to activate the offer.

On the next page you will need to submit your Wise account details – add your name, the bank name, the account number & swift code and the branch location. All of this is available from your Wise account information.

For a phone number you can just enter ‘0’.

Then on the next page enter your own details.

This step is very important to save yourself the transfer fee – toggle the promo code button to on and enter 3FREE to remove the transfer fee.

Complete your transfer using your chosen payment method.

Step 3 – Get Your Free Money

Once your transfer is complete then WorldRemit will email you with a discount code to use on your next transfer.

This code is worth £10 and can be used to transfer £10 to yourself, earning you £10 for free.

Step 4 – Withdraw Your Money

Now withdraw your money from both Wise and WorldRemit.

[Optional] Step 5 – Earn More By Referring Others

WorldRemit have an incredibly generous refer a friend scheme where they offer you £35 per successful referral.

If you have a blog, social media accounts or newsletter then share your referral link to earn even more.

A quick note about this offer

When you transfer money in different currencies, please bear in mind that there could be currency conversion fees as well as market volatility that could see a small depreciation in the transferred amount – alternatively it could go up! However, with £10 free from this offer, you should make at least £8.
