Pott Row car boot

A car boot sale is a type of market where individuals come together to sell household and garden goods they no longer need, typically held in large public spaces like school fields or car parks. Participants park their cars and open up their boots, from which they sell second-hand items directly to the public.

It’s a bit like a flea market in the United States. People often sell items like old toys, books, records, clothing, kitchenware, or small pieces of furniture. It’s a common way in the UK to declutter the house, make a bit of extra money, and give items a new lease on life.
