One thing that many people have but often don't see the money making potential in, is our cars. They sit on our driveways or are parked on the street. We use them to get to work, pick up the big shop from the supermarket or even drive to our holidays. Right now, many of us need to find ways to get our hands on extra cash. The Vehicle You Have

The vehicle you currently have might be your dream car, but is it ideal for right now? Are you still making payments on it? Maybe it's leased so you don't actually own it? It could be that the cost of insurance is too much. Not to mention the increasing cost of fuel. One way to make some money could be to swap your car. Something a bit more practical, with better fuel consumption and even lower insurance and road tax costs. Before we look at how to earn money with your car, can you cut the cost of owning a vehicle?

Did you know that there are companies that will pay to have an advert on the side of your vehicle? This is a great way to earn money with your car. The amount you can get varies depending on the size of the advertisement. These can range from small signs to full car wraps. The pay also depends on how much you travel. However, if you aren't bothered about people looking at your as you are sat in traffic on the M4, it's a great way to earn money with your car.

Become A Driver

You could become a driver. Maybe using something like Uber to drive people around or even setting up as a first class driver service. Of course, you could also use your vehicle to drive for Just Eat or similar food collection services, or work with a local takeaway who are looking for a dedicated delivery person. You'll need to check insurance however you could earn money with your car by becoming a driver.

Hire Your Vehicle

If you are now working from home a lot of the time, start making a tally of how often you actually use your car. If it's not very often, maybe a week or so between you going anywhere in your vehicle, you could hire it out. There are lots of people who hire their car out to others on a day or week rate. If you have a campervan or caravan you could do the same! Much better to earn money with your car than it be sat there doing nothing.

Along the same lines but a little bit different, have you thought about renting out the extra space on your driveway? If you live in a place where parking is tricky or at a premium, you could make £5-£10 a day easily by renting out your space. That could be up to £70 a week! If you live near offices that workers commute to or a hospital where parking is expensive, you could advertise your space and undercut the expensive parking elsewhere. You'll still earn a decent amount of money and will get regular business from the same people. 

There are lots of ways to earn money with your car. You could even deliver parcels for a courier service! Think outside the box and find ways to earn money with your car to help with those bills and the escalating cost of living.
