I've found a great hack for finding these extra hummingbirds.

Simply head to the TopCashback homepage and then open a handful of retailer links in new tabs.

Then check each tab and see if a hummingbird is displayed.

If not, close the tabs and start the next handful until you have found another hummingbird.

I can do this once to twice a day for extra hummingbirds.

I've found that yes, I can visit the winning retailers after their winning day and collect the hummingbirds.

I don't know how much this means I will win in comparison to collect them daily, but if you miss a day it is worth still trying the retailer from the previous day.
