Online shopping is a godsend to most of us, offering a way to shop from the comfort of our own home. I don't know about you, but I hate going shopping for things like clothes. Especially in winter, when you are wrapped up in your winter coat and then BAM, the stores have their heating blasting and you feel as though you might pass out! Online shopping is not only a major convenience, but we can also save money whilst shopping online. Here are 5 ways to save money whilst shopping online.
1 – Consider whether you really need it
The easiest way to save money when it comes to shopping online is to not buy anything.
Before making your online purchase, ask yourself if you really need the item. Could you repair something else, find a cheaper alternative or go without?
2 – Compare your prices
We all know that heading to different supermarkets means that we can save money, and the same is true for online shopping. Before making a purchase, do a quick price comparison for the item(s) you want to buy. You can just search Google for the item to see where it is available for sale and choose the cheapest retailer.
3 – Use the Lucky Checkout Club
We all know that earning cashback on our shopping is a great way to make free money – but is your 1% cashback from Argos really going to make a difference? There is a new way to shop online, and that is by using the Lucky Checkout Club.
All you need to do is click through the Lucky Checkout Club website before making your purchase online, and then you will automatically be entered into the free monthly prize draw to win a huge cash prize.
There are plenty of retailers on Lucky Checkout Club, including eBay, B&Q, Currys Pc World and many more. You can find your favourite retailer by searching by name, or category.
If you are lucky enough to win then your winning will be paid into your bank account or Paypal account – your choice!
4 – Spend more for free delivery
A lot of online retailers offer free delivery when you spend a certain amount of money. If your order comes under this amount then it might still be worth considering spending more to reach the free delivery threshold.
You can either look for items you know you will use soon – perhaps buying a gift for an upcoming birthday. Alternatively, if the retailer offers free returns then you might want to consider purchasing a few extra items and returning them for free. You will need to be disciplined enough to make sure that you do actually return the items.

5 – Use a voucher code
Online retailers like to entice us to spend our money by offering voucher codes – but sometimes you don't have a voucher code to use. That's where joining the Lucky Checkout Club helps – they have a shopping tool which you can install for free, meaning that you can see the vouchers available when you visit a retailer's website.
Even better, they will show you if there are any upcoming voucher codes available. How many times have you placed an online order only to receive a voucher code just a few days later?

Wow the ability with the Lucky Checkout Club to flag up voucher codes that are just about to hit would be really handy. I’ve definitely cursed in the past when spotting voucher codes just after buying something!
Lucky Checkout Club sounds fab! I’ll definitely have a look at that next time I need to make a purchase. #MondayMoney
