I’ve mentioned numerous times that I’ve found buying craft items from Temu such good value for money, especially compared to the prices on Amazon or at Hobbycraft. In this post I’m sharing some of my favourites in the Temu craft haul.
I love spending my time crafting for a variety of reasons. As the nights draw in over winter, spending time crafting helps me to keep busy instead of resorting to just going to bed early. Some people even turn their crafting into a side hustle or business like selling on Etsy.
The Benefits Of Crafting As A Hobby
Stress Reduction – Engaging in crafting activities can help reduce stress and anxiety. The repetitive and rhythmic motions involved in many crafts can have a calming effect on the mind, similar to meditation.
Creativity and Expression – Crafting allows individuals to express their creativity and imagination. It provides a platform for self-expression and the opportunity to create something unique and personal.
Sense of Accomplishment – Completing a crafting project can give a sense of accomplishment and pride. This feeling of achievement can boost self-esteem and self-confidence.
Emotional Well-Being – Crafting can be a source of joy and satisfaction. The act of creating something beautiful or functional can lift your spirits and improve overall emotional well-being.
Improved Concentration – Crafting often requires focused attention to detail, which can improve concentration and mindfulness. It can also enhance problem-solving skills as crafters find solutions to design or construction challenges.
Sustainable Living – Some forms of crafting, such as upcycling and DIY home projects, promote sustainability by reducing waste and repurposing materials.
Financial Savings – Making your own items, whether it’s clothing, home decor, or gifts, can be a cost-effective alternative to buying them.
Gift-Giving and Sharing – Crafting provides the opportunity to create personalized gifts for loved ones, strengthening relationships and showing thoughtfulness.
As you can see, there are lots of benefits to crafting as a hobby, whether it is knitting, vinyl crafts, painting or anything else.

I had to get this paint water changer for my Warhammer loving husband. It is probably one of the biggest money savers in my Temu craft haul compared to Amazon prices. It cost me just £4.57 from Temu, and they are £14.99 on Amazon. A saving of more than £10.
I use my Cricut machine all the time, and this dupe cutting mat set me back £5.95 for a pack of 3.
One of the pricier items in my Temu craft haul is this set of 8 pieces of faux leather A4 sheets. I’ve used my Cricut Maker to design bookmarks and earrings. It is so easy to work with and such good quality for the price.
In comparison, on Amazon for similar you will pay £10.99.
The variety of these available on Temu is incredible.
One of my ideas for Christmas is to add red and white ‘candy’ to a jar with water beads. This is a pack of 10,000 water beads and it cost me £1.69. 10,000 at Amazon would set me back £5.99.
These are the ‘candy’ pieces I want to put into a jar with the water beads. I went for a pack of 50 which cost me £4.59.
I really want a Cricut Easypress Mini, and this was just a fraction of the cost at £5.38.
I mean…it isn’t Cricut but it does the job.

A resin alphabet mould will set you back around £10 on Amazon. This one was £3.07 from Temu.

Here you can see a gold coloured resin name tag that I made for Scooby using the pieces.
These multi coloured candy canes have given me so many ideas for festive crafts. They can be hung straight onto the Christmas tree, added to a jar with water beads, used to accent pictures or woodwork to name a few. The set of 20 cost me £2.39
This UV resin is incredible! I paid £11.98 for 200g, which admittedly was only £2 cheaper than Amazon, but I was able to apply my Temu credit from a Temu price adjustment to the order, making it cheaper. It is really easy to work with.
These gingerbread men cost £1.47 for 10
I always need new paint brushes, and these were 89p for 10.
The same for the blue set in this Temu craft haul – 10 paint brushes for just 89p.

This set of kawaii food resin pieces cost £1.68 for 15 pieces.
Overall I’ve been quite happy with the items I’ve purchased from Temu for crafting.
