When you switch to Lidl, download the app and start spending, you start getting rewarded. The app is easy to navigate and once you have downloaded it from the app store or Google Play, you will see the coupons you can unlock as you shop. When you spend £50, you'll unlock a free in-store bakery item coupon. Those who get to £100 will receive a £2 discount coupon. If you reach £200 you'll get a £10 coupon added to your app. These targets refresh month to month however, the average family will no doubt be able to reach that top goal should you do all your supermarket shopping at Lidl. To record your sale, simply click the dark blue Lidl Plus Card button at the bottom of the app screen. You'll then see a QR code that you scan at the till.
Weekly Discounts
There are also weekly discounts on the Lidl app. These change every seven days and give you different discounts on various ranges of groceries. At the time of writing this, you can get 10% off the Greek Eridanus range. There is also 50p off Deluxe sausages and 15% off when you buy from the Gelatelli & Bon Gelati ice lollies and ice creams range. Simply click the button next to the offer to activate the coupon. Then when you scan your QR code, the discount will be applied. Be sure to look at these before you head to the shops so you can activate the discounts and add these items to your shopping list. It's a great way to save a little extra and even try different types of food.
See What's In The Middle Of Lidl
Lidl is famous of the middle aisle. With new products you didn't know you needed, arriving every week. On the Lidl app you'll see what is on the way into stores. These promotions are highlighted, usually in a banner towards the top of the app. If it is of interest, when you click it, you'll see what products will be for sale and for what price. As well as the date that they are due into store. This helps you grab great bargains before they sell out.
Digital Versions Of Leaflets & Magazines
Do you grab discount leaflets and magazines when you exit the store? If you pick them up after you've done your shopping, you might miss out on some deals you would have bought. The Lidl app has digital versions of current leaflets and magazines. This means you can check them out before you head to the supermarket, adding anything to your shopping list.
