make money doing nothing

How does the idea of earning money whilst you're doing other things sound to you? Even better, whilst you're doing nothing! We all need a little downtime but we still want to make money and add to our household income. Make some extra cash whilst you are at work or overnight as you are asleep. Let's have a look at some idea of how to make money doing nothing.

Rent Out Your Parking Space

A great way to make money doing nothing is by using what you already have. Many of us have houses where we have driveways or allocated parking spaces, however, lots of people don't have vehicles. If you have space to spare, that is potential cash. There are lots of drivers looking for a good place to leave their car whilst they are shopping in town or visiting a relative at the hospital. If you live near a hospital, you can probably undercut the hospital car park and get staff renting your space. Even just £5 a day would be £35 a week. That's £140 a month! You can just sit back and enjoy that money trickling into your bank account.

By signing up for affiliate programmes, you can promote products or services via your blog or Instagram account, taking a commission if and when people buy things. The amount you make is unlimited and there is no better feeling than waking up, checking your emails and seeing that you have a couple of hundred pounds due to you in commission. There are some well-known options such as Amazon Associates however depending on your audience, you might be better with niche courses. Find the affiliate programmes for you and enjoy watching that money roll in.

House Sit For People

Another fantastic way to make money doing nothing is by house sitting. There are lots of people who want someone in their house whilst they are away on a work trip or on long vacations. This could be a couple of weeks or even months on end. A house sitter stays in the house, providing security and even watering potted plants. You basically live your life, whilst living in someone else's home. However, you get paid for it! You could get £50 a day, which can add up over a number of weeks. Another great plus point is, with everything going up in price, you can live in someone's house and not have to pay the bills! So you'll be making money whilst saving money too!
