If you are looking for a career change or an opportunity to work from home, you might be wondering what type of work you can actually do. If you have a laptop and mobile phone, you can actually do a number of different jobs from your kitchen table. What will fit in with your current commitments, such as getting the kids to and from school and maybe other part-time employment? In this blog post, we're going to look at how to find data entry work from home.

Recruitment websites

One of the best places to find employment opportunities is on recruitment websites. These sites exist for a reason and the companies often do a great deal of marketing to get employers to post jobs on there and get potential employees searching. With more and more companies choosing to allow staff to work from home, with a quick search on these recruitment sites, you will find opportunities for data entry work from home. You might need to stay in contact with the company or have a weekly call or video chat. However, much of the role is independent and you can do the contracted hours or workload in your own time.

Facebook groups

There are many Facebook groups where you will find WFH opportunities. These will often include data entry work from home jobs. Whilst you might need to join a few of these in order to find the perfect role for you, the great thing is that if you keep your foot in these groups, you will see more opportunities. You might start with one role which gives you a handful of hours, yet you could then take on another opportunity. By staying in these groups, you can find more work and even get previous clients you found from these groups to recommend you for other work.

If you are open to potential clients contacting you, why not utilise Twitter to find work? Schedule some posts detailing what you are experienced in doing and see if any clients get in touch. You might also be able to find companies who are searching for someone just like you, by clicking on relevant hashtags. Twitter can be a great way to connect with clients as well as expand your portfolio of clients and show your experience. If you don't yet have a Twitter account, now could be the time to do so.
