As a blogger, sending emails is a massive part of my job. Not only do I spend a lot of time replying to emails, but I also send out a weekly newsletter, have free email courses and liaise with companies and other bloggers. Being able to send mass emails is extremely useful as a blogger.

It could be sending out lots of welcome emails to my new subscribers, sending out regular invoices or even contacting other bloggers to see if we could do a guest post swap.

I use Gmail through GSuite for my emails, so looking for a mass email service that works with Gmail can be difficult. That's where GMass come in to help send mass emails

Why use a Mass Email Service

There are plenty of reasons for using a mass email service instead of sending out emails individually.

They include:

  • Avoiding your emails going into spam folders and remaining unread
  • Increasing the sending limit that Gmail have
  • Scheduling emails in advance
  • Personalising your email messages to help you get a better response rate
  • Enhanced reporting
  • Tracking your open rate and click rate

Plus many more!

GMass increases Gmail's sending limits

This is one of the best reasons for using a mass email service.

Did you know that when you use Gmail you are limited to emailing just 500 people?

Even whilst paying for GSuite this only increases to 2,000 people.

If you are looking to send mass emails then sometimes these numbers don't even cut it for your mass emailing needs.

GMass is very clever and will work within these limits to help you to send more emails.

For example if you needed to send your email to 5,000 people then GMass will stagger the sending of them, so you don't have to do anything else. This all happens automatically!

Why bloggers might send mass emails

There are plenty of reasons for bloggers to send out mass emails.

A common reason is to help grow their Domain Authority, or DA.

Your Domain Authority is a score between 1-100 and measures, according to Moz, how influential your blog is. The higher the Domain Authority then typically the more bloggers can charge for sponsorships.

Therefore many bloggers are looking to increase their Domain Authority as a matter of priority.

A great way to do this is to get links to your blog from other bloggers. You can do this by offering to swap links, or writing a guest post for another blog.

A mass email service will help you to reach plenty of bloggers to help you to grow your Domain Authority quickly.

There are plenty of other marketing emails you can send out

Be friendly and approachable – introduce yourself, make it clear what you are asking and be sure to make yourself open to answering questions.
