make money in the evenings

Do you work hard all day and then wonder how you can make ends meet? Maybe the job you have is your passion but it's not paying you enough for your current lifestyle, or the one you would like. It could even be that you simply want to add some extra money into your savings account or pay off your debt quicker. Whatever the reason you want some additional cash, have you considered working in the evening? In that time after you've put the kids to bed and you perhaps have a couple of hours sat on the sofa? Let's have a look at how to make money in the evenings.

Online Surveys

Did you know you can make money in the evenings by still sitting on the sofa? Grab your phone or laptop and sign up to some online survey companies. That's right, you can get paid by completing surveys on your devices. The amount you can earn varies from company to company and survey to survey but it is fairly easy to occupy your evenings and earn some extra cash. Start off by signing up for Swagbucks, Prolific and Cashback. You can also join Yougov where you'll get regular surveys and be able to give your opinion on popular culture and current events. You usually get between 50 and 100 points per survey and when you reach 5000 you can convert it into £50. Many people use this to earn an extra £50, a number of times a year.

This is a great idea for a side hustle! Be sure not to take on more work than you can handle alongside your day job but you never know, it could become so popular that you decide to pursue it full time.

Take On A Part Time Job

There will be part times jobs in your area which work for the hours you have. If you need extra cash, how about working in the corner shop for a couple of evenings a week, or taking on a shift at the Chinese takeaway? If you have children to care for, this might not work, however if you don't, or can rely on free childcare, you can make money in the evenings with a part time job. Maybe just five or six hours a week will add enough to your bank balance to make a difference to your financial situation.
