An affiliate link is a link that the company/product/service I am recommending gives me, and when you click through and sign up or make a purchase, I might get a commission.
Every affiliate program is different, and I may also get a commission if you visit the company/product/service’s website within 24 hours, or 30 days or sometimes even an entire year.
This commission is paid to me from the company and doesn’t impact how much you pay (if you are buying something or signing up for something). In fact I can even sometimes offer you a bonus for using my affiliate link, thanks to negotiating with the company concerned.
Due to the affiliate programs I am a member of, and due to ever changing affiliate programs, I cannot label each and every affiliate link in over 3,000 blog posts. It isn’t possible.
For instance, I might use an affiliate link to a survey website. When that survey website is no longer accepting new members then the affiliate company will redirect the link to another survey website, and I do not get paid a commission if you sign up. The affiliate companies do not let me know when this happens.
Another example is using AWIN’s Convert-a-link or Skimlinks which will turn ordinary links on a blog to affiliate links if it can. This is also something that I am not made aware of.
It is therefore best to assume that every link on MakeMoneyWithoutAJob.com is an affiliate link and that you will be supporting our business, Drew Media LTD, when you click through and sign up or make a purchase.
What to do if you don’t want to use one of our affiliate links
If you see a link and don’t want to use one of our affiliate links you can use a search engine to direct you to that website.
If you have already clicked on a link but don’t want us to benefit from your sign up or purchase then you need to clear your cookies.
