A clue is in the name – you can bet on politics and certain outcomes.
For example, the recent 2020 US Presidential campaign would have been a political betting event. It can also include things like the next Prime Minister of the UK, who becomes the Mayor of specific cities and more.
Basically anything political!
Is this type of betting legal?
Depending on where you are in the world will impact whether political betting is legal.
In the United Kingdom this has been allowed since the 1960s and doesn’t seem to be showing any signs of stopping soon.
How to bet on political events
Betting on political event outcomes is very similar to sports betting, and if you are use to sports betting then you won’t find it much difference.
Simply navigate to the event or outcome that you want to bet on, and then read the odds as usual.
Remember that you can choose to display the odds in fractions or decimals – whatever is easier for you to navigate and understand. I am a decimals person myself!
You can then make your selection and place your bet like normal.
Since political events don’t happen as often as sports, for example, horse racing, you might be waiting awhile to find out the outcome of your bed.
To negate this you could look for political events that will take place soon.
How much money do you need to start?
