AD – this is a paid collaboration.
I’m not sure if you have noticed, but I am obsessed with my cats.
Obsessed.
We have three cats – Tabs, Alaska and Treecko, and they often make an appearance on my Instagram stories.
I love dressing them up in little cute outfits (even if they don’t like it!). Here is Tabs as a dinosaur.
And Treecko.
He packed his bags after this and still isn’t talking to me. 100% worth it for this cute photo.
Hopefully I can earn back his life with some bribery – Dreamies in his favourite flavours.
Another area that has a lot of cats in it is the decor within our home.
From photo frames and canvases with pictures of our trio, to cushions and other soft furnishings, we like our guests to leave with no doubt in their mind that we love our cats.
Pet Portraits
One way to bring some pet artwork into your home is with a Pet Portrait.
Different to a photo, a portrait like a vector portrait from vectorpets.com is a beautifully designed piece of art that shows off your furry friend.
From just £8.20 you can turn your furry friend into a beautiful piece of vector art.
All you have to do is upload a photo, say how many pets are in your photo and choose an optional extras like faster delivery or removing an item from the photo (like a dog lead).
You will then receive your artwork within 72 hours, in a digital format.
What to do with your pet portrait
There are so many great ideas for things you can do with a pet portrait!
You can get it printed to frame and hang in your home, which might seem really obvious. Have you thought about some of the other things you can do with it though?
You can easily get soft furnishings created with your best friend on – like cushions and even blankets or throws. Not to mention socks!
You could also use it to create cards or postcards to send to your friends and family, which is a great way to keep in touch with them during these difficult times, and let them know that you are thinking of them.
You can also use the digital file online – does your pet have an Instagram account? It could be their new pawfect profile picture!
Not to mention setting it as your desktop or phone wallpaper.
Selling your pet portrait designs
If you have an especially cute catto, doggo or other furry friend AND you like a side hustle then you might love this.
With Vector pets, once you have commissioned a design, YOU get a full commercial license for the portrait.
This means that if you want to, you can sell merchandise with your gorgeous pet on it!
You can launch an Etsy store with items featuring your pet’s vector portrait.
For example you can sell digital products like printables and art work, as well as real products like t-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, cushions, mugs and so many more.
