If you have seen my Instagram account or YouTube videos, you will know that our cats, Tabs and Alaska, play a big part in our lives. As cat owners, we want the best for them – they are spoiled with a number of toys that would make any child jealous, and we like to feed them food that they love and that is beneficial to them.
Lily’s kitchen got in touch to ask Tabs and Alaska if they would like to try out some of their food, and this could not have come at a better time. Tabs had recently been throwing up a bit, and our vet suggested changing her diet. Lily’s Kitchen is committed to making natural, ethical and nutritious food for pets, which is exactly what we are after. The new cat range is made with a huge amount of care and love combined with extensive expertise from vets and nutritionists. The recipes are packed full of high-quality meat, are grain free and made with absolutely no meat meal or fillers, only natural ingredients. Everything we want for our girls!
They were both very excited to get a parcel addressed to them – oddly enough, it doesn’t happen too often!
Not gonna lie, I was excited to see that they had their own packs with their names on!
You may or may not know that you shouldn’t just change the food a cat eats without transitioning them onto new food. Thankfully, the people at Lily’s kitchen know this, and they even included a transition guide for humans to understand what to do. This process can take up to two weeks for fussy cats, but ours were fine after a week.
I loved their little note to Tabs and Alaska, here’s hoping that there are no more mice left on the door step!
How did the girls get on with the selection from Lily’s Kitchen? There was a selection of dry and wet food, as well as some treats, and to say that they have liked it would be an understatement. The selection of wet food, which includes hotpot, lamb casserole and even catch of the day went down really well, and they loved it. In true crazy cat lady style, I read out the flavours to them to see which one they wanted, and the lamb casserole won the first round.
And the treats? They are long gone!
Lily’s Kitchen have also created this video of cats hosting Crufts, which I just had to include!
