What do you do with your weekends? If you find yourself with some spare time, have you thought about earning a little extra money? How could you utilise your spare time at the weekend to boost your bank balance, pay off some debts or add to your savings fund? Let’s have a look at how to make money at the weekend.
Delivery Driver
There are more delivery drivers required than ever before. With more people shopping online and there not being enough hours on Monday to Friday to deliver everything, couriers and deliver companies also work on weekends. You could be working with well known companies in order to bring their customers the goods they’ve ordered. It could be delivering individual packages from online retailers for Hermes or Yodel or perhaps you could work for a supermarket, delivering groceries. There will be weekend shifts available so see what you can find.
Bar Staff
For some people weekends are all about going out, having a drink and socialising. For this, there needs to be staff in these drinking establishments. Bar staff are underrated. They work hard and put long hours in, often dealing with rude customers. Working in the local pub is a great way to make money at the weekend. Consider similar jobs like this including waiting on tables and working in coffee shops as well.
Retail Worker
Shops need staff. To stack shelves, serve customers, keep the place clean and tidy. Working in retail can be full on but with shops being open longer than ever, those opening hours need staff in place. There are likely to be shifts for everyone, to fit in around your life and other commitments. A four hour shift could be perfect with your childcare arrangements. A longer eight hour shift will bring in extra cash. How about a night shift in a supermarket? Retail can be a great way to make money at the weekend.
