With the warmer weather hopefully approaching soon, many of us have been thinking about spending time in our gardens. But how many of us need to spruce them up before we can even consider chilling out in them? You might consider some PVC window boxes.

We wanted to share with you today our tips for decorating your garden this summer. Will you be doing yours up?

Choose Some New Garden Furniture

I don’t know about you but my garden furniture has seen better days. I could definitely do with some new garden furniture so if you could do with the same, you might want to choose stunning garden furniture with Skyline Design. They have some really lovely stuff that is also super affordable too. I’ve already got my eye on a few pieces. Maybe consider a marquee for hire to really make your garden look great for a special event.

Add Soft Furnishings

Soft furnishings don’t have to stay in the home! You could also put cosy blankets and cushions on your outdoor furniture to ensure your guests are comfortable! Choose ones that are either designed for outside or you don’t mind being exposed to the elements.

Keep It Well Lit

There is nothing worse than sitting in the garden and it gets dark – and you have no lighting! You could choose big bulky lights or choose string lights however you should always consider some form of lighting when decorating your garden for summer! Many of the lighting types you get now are solar powered so they can charge up during the daytime for use during the night.

Weed The Garden And Plant Some New Flowers

My garden definitely needs some weeding doing before I can even consider entertaining friends. With the summer months approaching, I need to get those weeds up and plant some beautiful flowers in their space to add some much needed colour and decoration to the space.

I have a few favourite flowers that I will definitely be planting in my garden over the coming weeks!

Pick Up Some New Garden Decor

Garden decor can be picked up for fairly affordable prices from some big named brands or even your local garden centre. The decor you pick up obviously depends on your tastes – some people may choose a water feature, others may choose a bird table so they can sit and watch the birds. I know a few people who have a whole section of their garden dedicated to gnomes! You can easily pick up some pieces that suit your tastes and that will bring a whole new look to your garden.

Create An Outdoor Kitchen Space

This isn’t ideal for everyone but it is something I have always been interested in. I’d love an outdoor pizza oven as I think that’s a great centrepiece when entertaining but I have actually considered creating a whole outdoor kitchen space, complete with an outside bar too. If you love to entertain friends and family at your home and often serve them food and drinks, you might benefit from adding an outdoor kitchen space too!

These are just a few tips on decorating your garden this summer. Are you decorating yours?
