Not only will the wedding ceremony be cheaper but you will also pay lesser for the travel ticket and accommodation fee. It will be worthwhile even if the weather isn't perfect.  

Include More Foliage in Wedding Flowers

Wedding flowers can be expensive but you can save money by choosing to use more foliage than blooms. There is no need to be shy in using foliage since it is a trend now. Wedding garland is also an economical alternative to wedding bouquet. You can reduce the number of expensive flower varieties and include cheaper flower varieties to save money. In season flowers are always cheaper – opt for year round blooms like roses and orchids. Out of season flowers include tulips which are imported from Holland. You can consider non floral decor if you can't afford to use flower to decorate the wedding.

Choose a Smaller Wedding Cake

Wedding cake is one of the main expenses of a wedding. A small cake can already cost you a few hundred dollars. To save on wedding cake, you should avoid including too many cake decorations and don't order a cake with a lot of layers. A 2 layer wedding cake will be enough for the cake cutting moment. After that, you can supplement the cake by getting a larger cake stored in the kitchen so that everyone can have at least a slice. You can choose a cake with classic filling instead of exotic fillings.

Ask a Friend to Be Your Wedding Photographer

If you are on a budget to hire a photographer, you can ask a friend or family member to do you a favor in helping you to take the photos. You can also ask vendors for recommendations on a freelance photographer that is willing to work at a lower price.
