AmzReviews is no longer operating

How would you like to get products to review, delivered straight to your door, either heavily discounted or completely free? There are so many scam websites out there claiming to let you test products for free – but most of these are an exercise to get your details so that they can be sold on. However, I have tried and tested a wonderful website that delivers! In a week since joining I have received 5 items free of charge to review, for a total value of £49.91.

How it works

Sellers on Amazon are trying to encourage reviews on their items, so to do this they offer products either heavily discounted or completely free in exchange for an unbiased review.

To get started you simply need to register at AmzReview and find your Amazon public profile link. This is a link that shows all your past reviews – if you haven't ever published any Amazon reviews then it is worth taking some time to review a few of your past purchases. This will show suppliers the kind of reviewer that you are and the level of detail they can expect from you.

Once your profile has been approved, you can start applying for products to test. To look for free products, set your search preferences to sort by price, low to high and make sure you click on “refresh/search” to load your results. You will then be shown everything available to review and you can start applying to review items. As a new member there is a cap on how many items you can apply for, but after you have reviewed your first item you can apply for as many as you want!

Applying is simple – you just click a button to express your interest. The supplier will look at your profile and decide whether you will be a good match. If you are accepted then you will be sent an email with a discount code so you can place your order at Amazon. Quick tip here from ThriftyMumUK, if you select “no rush delivery” then you will also get a £1 code to be spent on digital products such as kindle books and music.

Once your item arrives, simply test it out and then write your review and leave the seller feedback. It doesn't take more than 15 minutes to do, and you get to keep your item!

There are plenty of free items to choose from, so if you aren't looking to spend any money then you can still get items completely free to review.

What's the catch

There isn't one! You will be receiving items completely free or discounted in exchange for an honest, unbiased review. The reviews take about 15 minutes to write, depending on the level of detail you want to go into.

Are Amazon okay with this?

The Amazon guidelines state that you need to disclose that you received an item for free (or discounted) in exchange for an unbiased review. As long as you stick to this and their general reviewing guidelines, they are fine with it!

  1. Thank you so much for this! I’ve already been accepted to review something that I needed to buy anyway, hurrah!

  2. Thanks, signed up earlier – definitely want to try this some more! I already got turned down for one item I applied for but hopefully will be able to try some fun/useful products!

  3. thank you so much for this – I have now got 25 items on there way! Most of which I would have bought anyhow (including electric toothbrush for £9.99 which I was going to buy in aldi for double the price on thursday) and some lovely gifts. Total spend for these 25 items? £30. Including the toothbrush! RRP is £274.75!!

  4. I’ve been using this site for a little while and it is fab. I have had loads of really useful free stuff. You occasionally get a invalid code but that’s the only downside really.

Do you know of any more review sites as I strangely really like writing the reviews!
