Lately we have been loving board games, and when we were asked to review Disney Pictopia, I almost jumped at the chance – just almost though…I wouldn’t want to be a blogging cliche. I love Disney, and we go to Disneyworld every year, so getting a Disney board game really excited me!

Disney Pictopia Review & Giveaway

First of all, the box looks great – it is shiny and everything you would expect from a Disney game. With lots of Disney characters on the front including Olaf from Frozen and Cinderella, there are characters that everyone will recognise. Inside the box you’ll find:

  • 200 Cards (1000 Questions)
  • 30 Wager Coins
  • 1 Game Board
  • 6 Movers
  • 6 Scoring Dials
  • 1 Die
  • Instructions

The game suits anything from 2 – 6 players and is recommended for ages 7+. Each game takes between 20 minutes to an hour to complete. With two of us it took 20 minutes for a game.

If you are a big Disney fan then you might find some of the questions too easy, but this didn’t take away from any of my enjoyment! Playing in teams (if you have enough players) means that everyone gets a chance to show off their Disney knowledge.

The instructions were easy to follow and we were playing within a few minutes. One thing that we did find a little odd for a family game is that players place bets, wagering between one and five coins, on whether they feel the question has been answered correctly or not.

I loved playing this and I can’t wait to get it out again!

Pictopia is available at Amazon for just £19.99 delivered.

  1. Great review and glad I watched the video so I can prepare for questions like “which Disney character would you have as your best friend?”
If the question was boyfriend it would be the Fox Robin from Disney’s Robin Hood…obviously!
Looks like a fun game. Though from the title I thought it was going to need you to draw the characters!! Phew ?

  2. Wow, sounds like a great addition to our game stash and family game nights. We love Disney!! Thanks for the chance to win!

  3. Ooh I am desperate for this game, I’ve heard so much about it and we are such massive Disney fans! Fingers crossed 🙂

We are big Disney fans in this family so we’d love to play this together.
