Let’s face it, everyone loves a freebie.

From ‘buy one, get one free’ to free pens at business events. We’re always finding ourselves getting drawn in by the allure of getting something for nothing. But the thing is, to find the best freebie deals, you need to know where to look. Did you know that you can get freebies from just about any product category online? In this post, I’ll be sharing the biggest and best freebie sites out there.

You’ll be on your way to receiving free food, beauty, and household samples in no time!

Beauty

The best site for beauty freebies is Glamour Beauty Club. Once you sign up up you’ll be asked questions about your favourite scents, skin type and skin colour. This ensures that all products that get suggested to you are relevant. There are no fees, and your beauty samples will be sent to you in the post free of charge.

When a sample product becomes available that fits your profile, you will receive an email and from there, you can opt-in to receive the sample product. Once you receive the product, normally you’re emailed a short questionnaire about your views on the sample. However, you are under no obligation to fill this out if you don’t want to.

Recent beauty freebies have included a mini Givenchy mascara, Laura Mercier setting powder and a Chanel perfume sample.

Household

Check out SuperSavvyMe, a site owned by Procter & Gamble, which often has household freebies up for grabs. All products on this site are manufactured by P&G. As well as offering freebies for cleaning products like Flash, they also offer products by their other brands such as Aussie hair care and Always feminine hygiene products.

SuperSavvyMe has the added bonus of coupons available on the site for P&G products. There are usually coupons available for laundry brands such as Fairy, Ariel, Bold and Lenor. At the time of writing, there is a coupon available for £2.45 off a Lenor fabric softener. You can ‘stack’ these coupons and use them with a promotional deal at a supermarket and get full sized products for next to nothing!

Food

‘There’s no such thing as a free lunch’… or is there? Be sure to sign up to apps such as Wuntu and O2 Priority if you are a 3 mobile or O2 customer. There are often free coffees, desserts and chocolates up for grabs with these apps.

If you’re after some freebies from the supermarket, Shopmium is the perfect way to get yourself some free food with your weekly shop. From instant noodles to frozen veggie food there are always new and rotational deals available on this app.

So many retailers will offer freebies on your birthday, so if yours is coming up soon, search around online to find out the best foodie deals that you can cash in on your big day.

Homeware

Getting free home furnishings online is a little trickier- but not impossible. If you head to online marketplaces such as eBay or Gumtree, there will often be listings for furniture and furnishings which are ‘free to take away.’ Search for items using your postcode and items closest to you will come up within the listings. If you have a car and can go a little further afield to collect something, this could be a great way to grab a freebie that would be expensive otherwise.

Freecycle is another website which lists items in your area which are free to take away, you can search listings by your district, and although there are no accompanying photos, every item listed on the site is completely free.
