Today we are going to tackle the hallway. If you have an upstairs landing then this counts too!
Dust:
- Light fittings.
- Above the doors.
- Skirting boards.
- Surfaces.
Wipe:
- Walls.
- Skirting boards.
- Door knobs.
- Light switches.
Vacuum/sweep/mop:
- Floor – moving furniture out of the way to clean underneath instead of just around.
- Upholstered furniture.
Sort:
- Sort through coats, shoes etc to see if they still fit, are in good condition and are still in use.
- Store out of season clothes.
- Donate or sell items that you no longer use/no longer fit and are in good condition. These can just be placed into your donating box for now.
- Recycle/throw away anything that cannot be salvaged.
- Put items away where they belong. If they don’t belong in this room then put them in a box or a bag to put away later.
List:
- Jobs to be completed at a later date such as touching up paint.
- Item(s) you need to restock.
