A week of Spring Cleaning - The Dining Room

Continuing with our week of Spring Cleaning, today we are tackling the dining room.

Dust:

  • Light fittings.
  • Above the doors.
  • Skirting boards.
  • Table & other surfaces.
  • Displayed china and glasses.

Wipe & Clean:

  • Walls.
  • Skirting boards.
  • Door knobs.
  • Light switches.
  • Wall hangings.
  • Clean place mats and coasters.

Vacuum/sweep/mop:

  • Floor – moving items out of the way to clean underneath instead of just around.

Sort:

  • Wash all textiles and replace with clean ones including table cloths, seat cushions and curtains.
  • Remove rubbish.
  • Put items away where they belong. If they don’t belong in this room then put them in a box or a bag to put away later.

  • Item(s) you need to restock.

Tomorrow we will be tackling the kitchen & utility room.
