Anyone who promises that you will make mega money completing online surveys is lying! Surveys often pay mere pennies for a lot of work, and you may find yourself completing most of the surveys only to be screened out and not receive any payment. However, there are some good survey websites out there, and if you are going to only join a few, I suggest it is these 10.

The 10 survey websites you should be signed up for

Prolific Academic

As mentioned in the post solely dedicated to Prolific Academic, you never get screed out of surveys which is why it's definitely a great survey site. The payment threshold is only £5 but if you wait until £20 you can avoid PayPal fees (so that might be something to consider). You get paid very quickly, there are no hassles and the surveys are actually on interesting subjects too.

Valued Opinions

Although it's possible to be paid from 25p to £30 per survey, the average payment you can be looking at is around 75p to £2 per survey. Payment for Valued Opinions is done through vouchers to several places, including grocery stores like Sainsbury's and M&S or online stores such as Amazon. If you're feeling particularly generous, you can also donate the money to charities.

InstaGC

InstagGC is a Paid To Click (PTC) website with plenty of ways to earn money; one of them including surveys. You can withdraw your earnings from as little as just £1 in Amazon vouchers. Having said that, there are lot of other gift vouchers you can get as well, including: ASDA, ASOS, B&Q, Groupon, iTunes, Rixty, Skype and Starbucks. Redeeming the gift vouchers is very very quick and you can use your code straight away (meaning a long awaited shopping haul when you're paid)! Furthermore, it costs the same points per pound to redeem a £1 gift card then it does to redeem a £100 gift card so there's no particular benefit of accumulating points.

Swagbucks

Swagbucks is another PTC, with a wide variety of tasks available as well, from downloading and reviewing apps to completing surveys (which, rest assured, Swagbucks have countless numbers of). You can withdraw your Swagbucks in a variety of ways – the most popular being Paypal cash or Amazon gift cards.

OnePoll

If you are bored of those tedious, lengthy surveys then Onepoll is definitely something suited to you. The surveys are short and sweet (sometimes only consisting of one question) but they still offer generous bonuses nevertheless. Just to aim a few; you earn £2.50 for registering, 50p for connecting your Facebook account and another 50p once you complete 10 surveys! Alongside these bonuses, their referral program is great, allowing you to earn a maximum of £4 per successful referral and the more you earn, the more benefits you get too. E.g. you earn £1 bonus when they earn £20 or another £2.50 when they reach £40. The payment threshold is £40 and can be redeemed via cheque, BACS or PayPal.

Viewsbank

Another website that offers short surveys is Viewsbank but also offer you the chance to participate in higher paying market research. For example, you may be asked to ring companies for insurance quotes or other things along those lines. The payout threshold is £6, is paid monthly and via Paypal.

You can find out more here.

MintVine

If having a low payment threshold is a priority for you when finding your perfect survey site, then MintVine is definitely something you should check out! It has a very low threshold (just $10), a variety of ways to earn money (not just the cliche surveys) and has a quite generous referral program. You can sign up here: MintVine.

Pinecone

Pinecone is one of the most generous survey websites out there in terms of payment, with an average of £3 per survey completed. Your points can be redeemed towards a variety of things such as homewares, iPads, magazine subscriptions, Amazon gift cards and much more, just take your pick! Finding a sign up link can be hard, but have no threat, here's one!

Gift Hunter Club

Gift Hunter Club is another Paid To Click site that also offers you the opportunity to complete surveys in order to earn points. You can also boost your earnings by downloading apps, watching videos and much more. Payment can be made in several ways including PayPal and Amazon gift vouchers.

Global Test Market

Global Test Market is the best! You can claim your payment through so many ways, not just the general PayPal or Amazon vouchers but also in stores like New Look. You get invitations to around 4-6 surveys a day if, annoyingly yu are screened out, you will receive entries into their sweepstakes instead (so not all is lost)! They also have an Android and iOS app for completing surveys on the go.
