iPoll is a survey site with both a website and a smart phone app so you can earn money on the go or even during your lunch break!
How does it work?
On their website, it looks like a standard survey site; what you'd expect really. They have daily changing surveys available covering a variety of topic with an average pay of 50p to £2. It's their app that's the truly exciting part. It's a lot more lucrative with more tasks available including things like shopping missions (which is rather unique for any site that isn't solely mystery shopping based).
What are shopping missions?
As the name would suggest, shopping missions involve visiting a particular retailer and purchasing an item, which you get fully refunded after. The task – similarly to cashback apps – involves uploading your receipt and answering a few demographic questions: gender, age etc. In the past they've had a “Brit's Voice” study which involved filming yourself every day talking about a specific topic and rewarding you afterwards with over £50!
Unfortunately they don't have a referral scheme in place at the moment, although they are looking into it for the near future. Having said that, they do offer a generous welcome bonus of $5 to get you going so you'll get earning within no time!
How can you redeem your earnings?
This can be done in a variety of ways. Despite everything being listed in US Dollars, it can be converted to GBP at the current exchange rate. The variety of ways you can redeem depends on the sum you have accumulated. Here's a quick overview for you:
$23 (roughly £14-£15):
Amazon gift card
New Look eGift card
Prepaid Mastercard Virtual Account
M&S online voucher
WOW HD gift card
$25 (roughly £15-£16):
Rixty online entertainment card
$50 (roughly £30-£32):
Paypal (a 3% transaction fee is applied if you decide to redeem via Paypal)
Payment is fairly prompt. You can expect your payment within a week or so.
